Mr. President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad received a verbal message from His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, Emir Of Qatar, concerning distinguished brotherly relations between the two countries and the latest developments on the Arab and international arenas.
This came during Mr. President received His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Heir Apparent of Qatar on today afternoon.
During the meeting, and review what has been done at the level of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the economic sphere and the prospects for the consolidation of this cooperation.

Mr. President added that the values espoused by President Obama in his election campaign and after his election as president are the values needed for today’s world as it is very important to adopt a principle of dialogue in the relations among nations based on respect and mutual interest, and the world faces serious challenges and that only dialogue based on respect for the law International is able to meet these challenges.
