Mr. President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad issued Legislative Decree No. (61) for year 2011 grant a general amnesty for crimes committed before the date (31/05/2011) and includes all belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood and all the detainees belonging to political factions and amnesty for half penalties for a felony, provided there is no personal claim.
Mr. President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad Issued Legislative Decree No. 34 for 2011, which provides for granting a general amnesty for crimes committed before the date 07-03-2011.

Mr. President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad issued Legislative Decree No. 19 of 2009, To create the Fund at the development and export promotion called “Export Development Fund” financially independent from organization, linked with Mr. Minister of Economy and Trade.
The Fund seeks to increase volume of national exports, expansion areas, reduce the burden and strengthen the competitive position of the Syrian products similar to foreign products and to enable them to access foreign markets in form leading to achievement of economic and trade policy in the Country.
Mr. President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad issued Legislative Decree No. 17 of 2009, To abolish the violation of the frequent turnover from the new traffic law.
According to the Decree, “delete the words and the frequent turnover in the second item of Article 3, paragraph 42 of Legislative Decree No. 11 of 2008 containing the amendment of the law of traffic and vehicles.”
