Mr. President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad issued Legislative Decree No. 19 of 2009, To create the Fund at the development and export promotion called “Export Development Fund” financially independent from organization, linked with Mr. Minister of Economy and Trade.

The Fund seeks to increase volume of national exports, expansion areas, reduce the burden and strengthen the competitive position of the Syrian products similar to foreign products and to enable them to access foreign markets in form leading to achievement of economic and trade policy in the Country.
